I had been wanting to do some experimentation with my craft wires... Antiqued/oxidized wires are much more expensive than the craft wires, of course, but I wasn't willing to pay that much and didn't want to raise the price of my jewelry either.
I found very good tutorials on how to age brass. So all day long I've been baking my chains and wires... I got very nice results on my silver wires and copper chain! Yay!
